Normal Heat Conductivity in a periodic chain of anharmonic chain of oscillators

Résumé

We consider a periodic chain of coupled and pinned anharmonic oscillators subject to a non-equilibrium random forcing. Assuming that the six-point correlation functions of the stationary state factorize in terms of the two-point correlation functions, we show that the heat current going through the system is consistent with Fourier law and that the conductivity is proportional to the inverse of the square of the anharmonic coupling strength.
